Whilst in London i made a contact with a knew fashion company called 'Lily and Odin'. Only on their third 'Ready to Wear' collection and selling clothing in 'Wolf and Badger' i was delighted to do some work for them! I have been able to practice my photoshop skills (which are in need of a bit of practicing) and come up with a range of images. Really good experience!  I have sent them my drawn images today, and my feedback has been positive so will keep you updated!

So, I have been Interning for Nicolas Oakwell Couture in London for the past 5 weeks! What an amazing experience, finished with a runway show in Claridges! I was able to work with the most beautiful clothes and learn knew skills which will help me so much in my final year of university. I have never worked so hard in my life, and now fully understand what goes into making a collection and show such a this, at one point we were working all night, and throughout the weekends! All worth it though to be able to see the finished pieces walking down the runway.

Here are my final products, really excited to have handed them all in! took me a week to hand sew each cushion, 9 to 5 also evenings sometimes too! i wanted to make three cushions but time was so tight!

Placement and proportion.... getting so close now to making my final cushions! i think i will be able to start my first one tomorrow. Today i took some of my design ideas and my new samples and thought of different colour ways, and different design proportions. I have come up with three cushions i like the look of so hot footed it to truro fabrics to get my silk (i hate truro fabrics with a passion, the people are so rude there!).... but anyway, cushion one tomorrow!
